About this hotel
Delamore Lodge is a small heritage property in Auckland, New Zealand, set apart from the busier city centre by its location outside the main urban zone. The hotel combines period character with contemporary hospitality, drawing visitors who value quieter surroundings and a more intimate stay. It has earned recognition as a Forbes Travel Guide Property in 2026, marking it among properties that meet the guide's standards for service and design. The lodge appeals to leisure travellers and couples seeking a retreat with local flavour rather than chain consistency, with the green hills and quieter neighbourhoods of Auckland's outer reaches as a backdrop.
